*Casadora to Crab Ride*
I love using Crab Ride in BJJ and was always looking (and struggling) for a way to seamlessly incorporate it into Pro Wrestling until I saw ZSJ hit this gem. This one can lead to Rear Naked Chokes and Arm Bars. I'm a big fan!

    I love these videos so much. I truly appreciate the insight, wisdom, and helpful tips that you give to your audience, myself included. I’ve been watching since well before I ever thought wrestling was a possibility for myself and watching your content has made me feel more comfortable and confident in my own unique journey. I hope others feel the same way and have similar stories and experiences. In short, keep up the amazing work!

      That's actually a very good question that I don't know the answer to. The only two explanations I've heard were that it makes everything more predictable, so easier to execute, especially when working on the fly. The other was that it means your right side is free to throw strikes.

    The biggest thing I ever learned in wrestling is that you are going to forget and your going to mess up. Go in there with what you call in the back as a "best case scenario" and be ready to pivot to something else.

    Thats easy when there's no resistance the reason the head is sometimes on top of the head is because they tried to get it behind the head but opponent moved and made their neck thick by pushing their head backwards and shoulders forward so you go with what you got until you can better your position which opponents also doing.

    • @damianslater
      @damianslater 2 місяці тому

      That’s a little old school Catch Wrestling but personally I think there’s no need for forward pressure. An almost rotational pressure from the choking elbow being drawn back is more commonly accepted in modern grappling.

    • @sethohman2
      @sethohman2 Місяць тому

      @@damianslater true, just started with grappling and had training the same day that I watched this video and pulled the move and found it effective. However next training we did D'arce chokes where they told us students the same thing you told just now, to utilize that rotational pressure and since then I've spotted the use of that in many other submissions as well :)

    How do people feel about multiple uses of 'finishers' not ending the match? It seems to pop up more in main events where someone might have to hit their finisher 2-3 times to end the match. I do enjoy the excitement of seeing someone kickout of a big move, but it does also reduce the impact of a finisher the more people kick out of it.
